“Poisonous Snake” and Ghoul Character

Ghoul was created from a spurt of intense creativity. I had the desire to doodle out some characters and I had a very small sketch of an interesting head with a very large mouth. I was intrigued by him so I decided to develop him a little further. Since he was a pretty simple character and I wanted to create something unique, I decided to bring him to life. I kept his figure pretty true to the sketch and finally he became what you see now. I vastly enjoyed working on him even though I had to rework things several times. I’m very happy with the way he came out and plan to use him in several other animations.In the above animation, the audio is from Resident Evil a survival-horror video game. I plan to animate ghoul to other lines from video games and movies. I modeled, textured, rigged, and animated this character in Maya. This project was completed in April of 2006.
